I know its 3 because half of 12 is 6 and half of 6 muffins they bought is 3 so they got 3 each.
b. How much do they each have to pay? =$12
I know its 12 because 3 muffins x 2 = $6, because you put their 3 +3 muffins together =6 ; the muffins cost only $2 each so, 6 muffins x $2 = $12

Should we cut down trees?-By Mele'ana

Success Criteria-I know I am successful when I can persuade my reader about my argument writing.
Should we cut down trees?
I think we should not cut down trees because people can use trees to build houses,furniture and other things.Trees beer fruit for people to eat and trees give us oxygen to breath so we can stay alive.
We should not cut down trees because we can make medicine using the trees so we can give it to the sick people and make them feel better.People are not allowed to cut down trees because if people cut down trees we won't get any pencils,tables and chairs.
People should not cut down trees because sometimes it can make the earth dirty because it will make the ground very dirty when the trees smash to the ground the dirt will go everywhere.If there are no trees when it rains the earth will be covered in water.
There will be no trees to stop the water from flooding the earth and Gods creations will be dead.That's why people should not cut down trees.

Whales By Meleana
Learning Intention:W.A.L.T.-Write a report.

Whales are mammals.They are warm blooded.
They are tough and they use their flippers to swim and they use their fins to swim.They swim under water mostly.They have big tails and big mouths.They also breath though their lungs to swim.
They are very big but some are small.They have a fish like shape.They have sharp teeth but some don't.They swim slow too.
They swim all around the water.Whales also make noises that calls other whales.Whales are mostly blue and black.
They eat heaps of things from the water and they eat a lot of fish.
